We had a very enjoyable stay at a lovely cottage nestled in a quiet location outside a charming seaside town. The cottage was cozy and well-equipped, with a comfy lounge and dining room, a well-stocked kitchen, and a great bathroom. We especially appreciated the thoughtful welcome package of wine, bread, and milk. We also had a wonderful dining experience at the nearby George III pub and restaurant with delicious food and fine views over the estuary. we loved our time at Railway Cottage and would highly recommend it.

our recent stay in fairbourne was lovely, but railway cottage truly exceeded our expectations. the comfy lounge, well-equipped kitchen, and great bathroom made it feel like a home away from home. we especially appreciated the thoughtful welcome package of wine, bread, and milk. don't miss the fabulous food and stunning estuary views at the george iii pub just up the road.
Creaky bed.

Title: Quirky and charming, loved it! I had a fantastic time at a quaint cottage with a beautiful garden and private parking. Only had to share it with my delightful companions. Explored the stunning Snowdonia National Park, just a short drive away.
Oh, who needs a freezer compartment or a comfortable bed when you have such character and charm?

I recently stayed at Railway Cottage in Fairbourne and although it wasn't the best experience, there were a couple of positive aspects about my stay. I found the location to be very convenient. As someone who frequently travels, I often look for transit hotels that are close to the airport. Railway Cottage is located just 114 km away from the nearest airport, making it easily accessible for travelers like myself. the holiday home itself was quite spacious and had enough room for me to relax and unwind after a long day of travel.
There were a few issues with my stay at Railway Cottage that I feel compelled to mention. There were noticeable black damp walls behind some of the furniture, and the beds felt damp as well.

I always stay here. Staff helped me find car. Suited me perfectly. Free parking, beach access, cots, no pets, no smoking. I'm coming back for another trip.

Access to a fully equipped kitchen: Cooking in the holiday home was a breeze! I felt like a master chef, whipping up delicious meals with all the tools I needed. It was like having my own private culinary playground.
Minor maintenance issues: Just a touch of loving care would go a long way. The cottage could benefit from a fresh coat of paint and new carpets downstairs.

Fully equipped kitchen: I must say, cooking in the holiday home's kitchen was a breeze. It had everything I needed and more. I felt like a chef in a five-star restaurant, except without the pressure of Gordon Ramsay yelling at me!
Dampness in the house: There were black damp walls behind some furniture and the beds felt a bit damp too. But hey, it's like staying in a tropical rainforest, minus the exotic animals.

We had a lovely time in this cozy cottage! the location was perfect for us, just a short drive away from the picturesque towns of Barmouth and Talybont. We were impressed with the well-equipped kitchen and the comfortable lounge and dining room. the bathroom was great too, and we appreciated the welcome package of wine, bread, and milk. We also enjoyed visiting the George iii pub and restaurant nearby, the food was fabulous and the views over the estuary were stunning. a charming and peaceful spot for a city break.
The downstairs area could use some TLC, with a lick of paint and new carpet needed. there was mold in the back bedrooms which was a bit off-putting.
